My Boldwood Books #BoldAudio video… or how I try to do it all myself when making videos
It’s #BoldAudio Day!! I am so happy to be a Boldwood Books Author with all of my books in Audio… so here they are…. in my inimitable ‘interesting’ style — which means me trying to hold the audio books with one hand and show them with the other while keeping up a running dialogue… kinda like swimming backwards and forwards at the same time.
And of course, a lovely shout out to my narrator, Laurel Lefkow, who’s been with me since the beginning… merci, Laurel!

Here’s the WW2 #Christmas letter that inspired my story
This letter was written 81 years ago on Christmas Day 1943 — and now we’re about to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of D-Day.
The soldier in this letter was later shot down in Italy… and survived. With two engines on fire, the pilot brought the B-25 in on a wing and a prayer.

For #InternationalWomensDay a special sisterhood I will never forget
I write about sisterhood during World War 2 in Paris (Sisters At War), but last weekend I found my own sisterhood at the UC Irvine Homecoming when I spent the day with women alumnae from my graduating class I’d never known when I attended the university.
Marianne, Kathy, and Nancy.
I’m shy by nature and these 3 alumnae picked me up like a lost kitten and showed me such kindess and friendship, I’m tearing up now at the lovely memory.
Thank you, ladies! You made the day special for me and I salute you on #internationalwomensday!

Me reading Comics in Italian #ReadComicsinPublicDay
I loved reading comics in Italian when I lived in Pisa to hone my language skills.
Here I am reading comics on a skiing trip to the Italian Alps with no idea back then a terrifying experience soonafter would inspire events in my upcoming Paris WW2 novel ‘Sisters at War’.
