Here is the text for excerpt 4 of Naked Sushi
I purred like a kitten, listening to my inner rhythm and loving it. I gave in willingly, my hormones flowing in harmony with his need, my need.
“Silly, dumb, stupid” were adjectives I’d use to describe my actions, but what girl stopped to think when a kiss was this good? I didn’t.
My body became the prey of this corporate raider Casanova. His hands were all over me, toying with my heavy red-plaid flannel shirt, yanking at the buttons hanging on for dear life.
With one small tug, he popped off the top two.
NAKED SUSHI is available on Amazon! And e-tailers everywhere!
Week 12 and the snippets are hot, hot, hot!! Be sure to check out the fab authors and their snippets HERE.
Last week, we met Chloe in NICE GIRLS DO IT . She’s a virgin, having lost her fiancé in Iraq before they could make love. When she meets the mysterious Hunter, he offers to help her overcome her grief and give her the loving experience she craves.
In this sexy snippet, he tells her about the virgin and the vase:
“This beautiful vase reminds me of a story I heard in London about a gentleman and a virgin,” said the Hunter, holding the ovular vase painted with pretty blooms and fancy chinoiserie. The bright gold leaf around the rim caught the light from the fire, mesmerizing her.
What was on his mind?
“Smoking a big cigar,” he continued, “the British lord insisted to the proprietor of a posh shop on Bond Street that a virgin was like a vase.”
“How intriguing,” she said, interested. The metaphor was obvious, but coming from the Hunter she expected his take would be unique.
And sexy. She wasn’t disappointed.
“Puffing on his cigar, the gentleman expressed his desire to acquire the vase for his collection.” He looked her straight in the eye as he slid his fingers up and down the vase from top to bottom with an experienced touch. She took an unexpected delight in watching him caress the vase like he would a woman.
I wish he’d touch me like that, find his way inside me and do all kinds of wonderful things to me.
Read the rest of the Hunter’s “Like a Virgin” story in “Nice Girls Do It” from Amazon Kindle and e-tailers everywhere. NICE GIRLS DO IT is $.99.
What can I say? This video is so awesome!! I’m thrilled to be a part of the Cosmo Red-Hot Reads from Harlequin. My October 2013 novella is called “Naked Sushi” about a spy wannabe who teams up with an FBI hottie to take down her sleazy boss.
Where does the sushi come in?
Pepper O’Malley goes undercover as a live sushi model wearing nothing but yellow pom-pom chrysanthemums and a banana leaf. And yes, the hero eats sushi off her body. And it gets sexier from there…

I first met Elaine, the heroine in my erotic short story, “Breaking the Rules,” in a little coffee house in McNally’s Corner when I was passing through. She told me about the night she met the Hunter…this darkly, mysterious man who changed her life.
And how it was the luckiest night of her life.
I’ll let Elaine tell you why…
Thanks, Jina. Hi, everyone. My name is Elaine and I used to be the girl who worked hard at her job and never got anywhere. Or with my love life. I was frustrated…really frustrated. My paycheck wasn’t getting any bigger and my libido had hit rock bottom.
Sure, I knew I was up for promotion, but I waited for my boss to give it to me. Figuring he’d see my good work, nod, and say, “Hey, Elaine, you deserve a promotion!”
Have you ever seen a rock jump up and throw itself into the pond?
I was that rock.
Set in my ways. Waiting for something to happen. Not only at work, but on the dating scene. Hank, my ex-BF, broke up with me via text message: Boring but dependable, he said, like my white cotton panties. No wonder he fell for a girl who went commando.
Then late one night in the coffee house, I got lucky.
I met the Hunter.
She smelled his scent before she saw him. Black leather soaked with a man’s sweat, emitting a muskiness with a hint of citrus. Sweet and sticky.
Elaine froze at her laptop when the hunk wearing the black leather vest whisked by her in the coffeehouse and yanked her power cord loose with his muddy boot. Her screen went darker than an ebony night and her coffee cup shimmied back and forth like a kewpie doll.
The web page disappeared like it was sucked into a black hole.
Damn him. The nerve of the man. So what if he was tall with a strong jaw and broad shoulders? He wasn’t her type. Look at him. Dark and stormy, and filled with a wild streak like the critters roaming untamed through the dense woods in these back hills.
A way station back in the day for trappers and settlers heading west. Population around eighteen hundred when you counted the hogs and chickens. A small town doing its best to survive the economic downturn. And barely hanging on.
Like Elaine. Living on her meager salary and peanut butter sandwiches, she’d come home to put the pieces back together after a painful breakup.
Which meant no distractions from a guy with eyes so blue he could make a girl wet her pants with a hard stare.
Wait, did I say that?
What follows next is my trip to the never-never land of blissful sex and personal empowerment. The Hunter changed my life.
Was it just luck? It’s hard to know. I’d like to think the Working Girl’s Fairy Godmother sent him to me. Whatever, I had a wild ride that night…learned a lot about myself and that you have to ask for what you want.
At work or in bed.
And so should you…
